What's the Class About?

We focus on the development of basic musical concepts and lay the foundation for success later on. We learn the fundamentals of musical dictation, reading and writing music, proper instrument handling, ensemble preparation, study the music and life of Mozart, interpret and tell musical stories, explore the World of Music, the instrument families of Percussion and Brass Winds, and learn to play the Glockenspiel (a tuned, barred, percussion instrument).
